Oh how "Sweet" it is...

I had the privilege to get to babysit last Friday night! Charissa called and asked if we had plans and I was so excited. Look at how precious Rhealee is.... she has little curls and her teeth are just so darn cute - I got to rock her to sleep and I told Greg if I could rock snugly babies to sleep every day for a living I would do it in a heart beat.

Here is a picture of Taryn and Greg - look at her sweet little hands - Greg is great to help me and if I do say so myself he can color very good for a big old guy! Apparently in this pic...he was not doing something to Taryn's liking. Greg would not let Taryn color on his picture and without him knowing she got a bit upset...when Charissa & Cory came to get them the first thing Taryn did was to tattle tale on Greg - too funny. He thought they were playing but she took it to heart.

Our memory verse for this week is - Isaiah 43:10 "You are my witnesses," declares the LORD, "and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me."

God chose me.....and He wants me to "know" "believe" and "understand" that God is God.

How ironic it is that all satan has to do is take just one of these away, and the formula doesn't work. We live in a world that is like a huge vacuum sucking us all toward the lies of satan. Money, Status, Material things, the way we view or bodies our appearance, ect. Tonight in Bible class a lady said the most important thing we can do is....FOCUS on God..... not on things, not on self, not on what others have and we don't. Before we say a word....focus on God....before we re-act .....focus on God..... I see how quickly we can be pulled out of our walk with Christ and walking down the path of the world - and the end of the road is not at all what it appears to be from afar.

My prayer is that I can take this memory verse to heart, etch it into my mind, my heart and to - Know that my God is who He says He is.... to Know that He loves me.....to Know that He is bigger than any problem or worry that comes my way -

to Believe - the Hebrew word is aman, which means "to be firm, to be enduring, to trust." (definition is taken out of my breaking free homework)

its says believe me - believe God not the lies the world (satan) will try to put in our mind

Understand - that I am he. - look what it says "I AM - the more we dig into God's Word and come into His presence in prayer, the more His Word is like a puzzle - all the pieces fit together and I get so excited when like building blocks each time I learn something new and "understand" the deeper meaning I become so excited I want to share it with others! I want to grow each day closer to the God who chose me.

Oh how I love Jesus - He has been so good to me.
