We got some tough news today. June 30, 2009. I know satan would just love to see me live in defeat and get caught up in the fear and anxiety - but.... instead my thoughts have been filled with this scripture. I taught a class on it and loved the image of resting in the shadow of the Almighty, think about it, that means God is behind us and so much bigger (than any human problem or bad news) that is causes a shadow of protection to cover us... I am going to rest on that thought tonight. I love you Jesus.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.I will say of the LORD,“He is my refuge and my fortress,my God, in whom I trust.”Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.He will cover you with his feathers,and under his wings you will find refuge;his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

It was a Wednesday night ladies class at Church on the different names of God. Each lady signed up for a different name - I am not a good teacher, but I always seem to learn more when I do! El Shaddai - was the name I chose - meaning, God Almighty
