Love...Love...Love....

I purchased a new book - I highly recommend it - the name is Love Letters from God by Bonnie G. Schluter. A mother wrote these letters and gave to her sons as they went off to college - the family compiled this book in her memory. I have copied straight from the book one letter that just touched my heart and here it is - just imagine God speaking this letter to you....
Dear child:
All of My children are in need of constant uplifting. Why does it bother you that you can say things to uplift others, yet you cannot uplift yourself? Don't you realize that this is all according to My plan? If each of you could fulfill his own needs, you would become independent, and you would not need each other.
Always remember that you are all members of one body. Each one of you has distinct talents and gifts that can help others. Be open to the gifts I make available to you. Be willing to be a channel through which I can help others.
Avail yourself of Christian fellowship, and be open to the people I put in your path. I use many people to help you with your daily problems. I can even use the ones you consider your enemies.
Listen for My voice. In the quietness of your prayer time, listen for My voice. I am always ready to talk to you. The question is, are you ready to listen?
Know how pleased I am that you are in that place, in that time frame, in the flow of the anointing where miracles can be created, in your life and in the lives of all I send who come under your influence.
Love! Love! Love! Never be caught not loving. It is only as you live in love that you fulfill My will in your life. Let your life be inspired by love, controlled by love, and driven by love. Let love rule every area of your life.
My dear child, many are the seeds you have planted that have grown up in Me and are now full-grown trees-ready to bear much fruit. Take and eat of the fruit of the Spirit.
Take Joy and see your strength increase.
Take Peace and your love will be secure.
Take Patience and you will overcome every adverse situation in your life.
Take Gentleness and your conduct will always reflect My love.
Take Goodness and spread My love to all you meet.
Take Faith, for it is love's confidence.
Take Meekness, for it is love's humility.
Take Temperance, for it is love's victory.
Yes, take and eat of the fruit of the Spirit. Eat and live that your joy may be full as you continue to bear much fruit.
Remember, My child, you are excellent because My Spirit is in you. I love you. I love you with an everlasting love.

Friends are gifts from God - and I am so thankful for my Christian friends that I have in my life. May we continue to grow in the wonderful fruit of the Spirit -
