Same kind of different as me.

I read this book this past weekend. I just love when a book opens my eyes to a new way of viewing things. If you have not read this book I would highly recommend it. I have a copy that you are more than welcome to borrow. It was so good. I don't want to spoil it for you if you have not read it - but I will say that I learned how to view people and how God works and brings people into our lives to help us, just as He leads us into others lives to help them. Oh it is such a great book. If you read it - leave a comment on your favorite part and what you got out of it.

We are starting every Wed. night at church having a meal/devo for anyone that will come. Outreach, fellowship and showing love. I learned from this book that it's not just about doing "good deeds" for show or because it makes us feel or look good.... Jesus tells us to love our neighbor as our self.....so when a visitor comes in to eat, ask their name (and remember it), then go and pray for that person by name before God. We are here to show love and how better to love a person than to pray for them by name. God is "able".
He will do the work, we are here to be His vessels for His love to pour out through us. luv ya,pl

Why Christ is my Passion

The more I seek Christ in my walk, the more I find Him -
Psalm 18:1-2
I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
thank u Jesus
