How He Loves Us

Wow I just got home from a clerk's conference in Kerrville, Tx. I have to tell you that God is so good. My Mom and Aunt got to go with me and on the drive down I was so surprised how dry the land was. It was crazy - I have never seen it that way. The land looked so thirsty for rain. The hill country was still so pretty - all the trees, hill /mountains whatever they are - not flat land...anyhooo this morning after a great time, I opened the curtains in the motel room and had no idea we faced the east. We got to see the most glorious sunrise topping out over the mountain top - it was gorgeous! God is so ready to lavish His love on us if we will just take the time to stop and look for Him in our daily lives. Tonight as I was pulling into my hometown and I got a sense of being home...the familiarity of knowing people....pulling into the garage and being greeted by my boys and two silly dogs. Home. I love my house, my room that I study in and the early morning time by myself that is my quiet time with God. After getting off schedule my "mind" was a little hungry and thirsty for some time with God. I was listening to "One" of my new most fav songs from David Crowder Band, How He Loves Us... I came upon this scripture: Psalm 63:1-5 O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands. My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you. I am so thankful to God that if I earnestly seek Him He will satisfy me with the richest of foods - His Word. The land can be dry and dying but as long as I am a child of God, His love....is life to me and will feed my soul. I was made to praise and give Him glory as long as I live. luv ya, pl

Why Christ is my Passion

The more I seek Christ in my walk, the more I find Him -
Psalm 18:1-2
I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
thank u Jesus
